Francis Pindar Salesforce MVPAhead of #DF13 we caught up with Francis Pindar, a freelance technical consultant and MVP. He’ll be heading across the pond for Dreamforce for the third time this year, so we jumped at the opportunity to pick his brain before the event!

Francis, the #DF13 theme is the Customer Company Revolution. What does that mean to you?

The customer is getting more power over the company – so for me it’s around bringing the customer closer to the company, and also bringing more information and data to companies’ fingertips. People are getting more impatient and wanting to get answers more quickly, so they’ll jump to the community on the internet or they’ll search on the internet for their answer, before going to talk to the company – it’s a huge change. Genius Bar at Dreamforce

The genius bar is one of the great places at Dreamforce to get help on more or less any Salesforce product. Experts will be on hand to help you out and this year its in the Hilton Hotel slap in the middle of the Community Zone next to the Foundation Zone. I’ll be there on Tuesday 2pm to 4pm and Thursday 9am to 2pm.

Here we go, another Dreamforce this time in November! Salesforce have so far announced Sheryl Sandberg (COO, Facebook), Marissa Mayer (CEO of Yahoo) and Green Day as the band this year… I think its going to be a blast!

During the MVP Summit in August we had a sneak peek at the Dreamforce App. I have to say it’s incredibly impressive! DEFINITELY don’t forget to get it when it comes out! Hopefully Salesforce will release information about this soon.
